Rosemary & Co Red Dot Collection - Synthetic Pointed Round - Size 0

Most synthetic brushes feel like synthetic brushes. The Red Dot Collection don't.

Developed by Rosemary & Co after years of research into synthetic fibre performance,  Red Dot brushes use a proprietary fibre that genuinely replicates the characteristics painters value in natural sable — snap, point retention, and paint-carrying capacity — without using any animal hair. The result is a brush that sits in a different category from the cheap synthetics typically bundled with starter sets or sold in high-street art shops.

Handmade in Yorkshire, the Red Dot Pointed Round is a versatile everyday brush that handles the full range of tasks a pointed round is called for: basecoating, layering, blending, washes, and most detail work.

Red Dot brushes are 100% vegan and come in at a lower price than the Series 33, making them the natural choice for painters who want Rosemary & Co quality without the Kolinsky price, or who prefer not to use natural hair.

But many painters use both: Series 33 for the work that rewards a Kolinsky's finest qualities, Red Dot for everything else, and for brushes they're less protective of.

For  more affordable Pure Red Sable brushes, consider Series 99.

Good For: Basecoating, layering, blending, washing, most general painting tasks on 28mm and larger miniatures.

Brush Care: Rinse in clean water after use, reshape the point gently, store upright or horizontal. A quality brush cleaner or mild soap used occasionally will extend brush life significantly. The synthetic fibres are more resistant to solvent damage than natural hair, making Red Dot brushes a good choice for oil washes and enamel products.
