70.597 Retarder Medium

A medium added to paint to extend the open drying time, allowing more time for wet-on-wet blending, large surface transitions, and two-brush blending before the paint sets. Particularly useful in warm or dry conditions where paints dry faster than normal. Added in small amounts to paint on the palette; a little goes a long way and overuse can prevent paints from drying properly.

About Vallejo Auxiliaries: Vallejo mediums, varnishes, and thinners are formulated to work with Vallejo acrylic paints and can be used across the Model Color, Game Color, and Model Air ranges. They allow painters to modify working properties, finish, consistency, and drying time to suit specific techniques and applications.

Technical: Add a small amount to paint on the palette. Do not add more than 10-15% by volume. Test on a scrap surface before use on a finished model. Cleans up with water. 17ml dropper bottle.
