A dark, grey-toned metallic for basecoating dark steel, weapons, and armour, and for the shadow areas of metallic surfaces. Its slightly warmer tone than Oily Steel makes it a natural dark base for more conventional steel and gun-barrel colour schemes. Pairs well with Silver as a two-step steel effect.

About Model Color: Model Color is Vallejo's professional acrylic range, developed for brush painting miniatures and scale models. Water-based and highly pigmented, the colours provide excellent opacity and coverage over a primed surface. The dropper bottle dispenses paint accurately, reducing waste and making it easy to control exactly how much goes on the palette.

Technical: Water-based acrylic. Shake well before use. Thin with water or acrylic medium as required. Cleans up with water. 17ml dropper bottle.
