73.121 Desert Dust

A pale, sandy ochre pigment for dust accumulation on vehicles, figures, and bases in desert and arid environments. Applied to wheel arches, lower hulls, running gear, boot soles, and the lower portions of figures it creates the characteristic pale dust coating of North African, Middle Eastern, and desert campaign subjects. Works naturally alongside Iraqi Sand and Pale Sand in the Model Color range for a cohesive desert colour scheme from primer through to final weathering.

About Vallejo Pigments: Vallejo Pigments are ultra-fine dry powders used to create realistic weathering and atmospheric effects on miniatures, scale models, and dioramas. Applied dry with a soft brush, they produce a matte, powdery finish that no liquid paint can easily replicate, ideal for dust, dirt, rust, and corrosion effects. Pigments can also be mixed with Vallejo Pigment Binder or isopropyl alcohol to create a paste for more precise and controlled application. Once applied, pigments can be fixed permanently with a matte varnish or dedicated pigment fixer to prevent disturbing the effect during handling.

Technical: Loose dry pigment powder. Apply dry with a soft brush for dusting and atmospheric effects, or mix with Vallejo Pigment Binder or isopropyl alcohol for paste application. Fix with a matte varnish or pigment fixer once satisfied with the result. Keep away from heat and direct sunlight. 35ml pot with a childproof top.
